Police say 32-year-old woman injured after being stabbed in the face in east Fort Worth

A 32-year-old woman was injured in a stabbing Friday night in east Fort Worth, police said.

Officers responded to the 2600 block of Roseland Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. on Nov. 15. According to police, they found a woman with apparent stab wounds on her face.

Police stated that in the initial investigation, the incident may have resulted from an argument. No arrests have been announced.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. According to the police, the injuries are not life-threatening.

Police said the Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating the stabbing.
