Four men accused of stealing copper from Jackson’s business

Jackson, Miss. (WJTV) – Three men and a woman were arrested after Jackson police say they stole copper from a business.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Metro Center Drive on Thursday, Nov. 14. They took descriptions of the suspects and their vehicles. Detective Tommie Brown said the suspects were arrested at the upstairs loading dock.

According to Brown, William Floyd, John Henry, Rachel Stepp and Zackery Williams broke into the building below the Burlington store. He said the vehicle used in the crime was a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with a changed tag.

Police said they found guns, burglary tools and copper wires in the suspects’ vehicle. The suspects will face the following charges:

  • William Floyd – Convicted of burglary, possession of burglary tools and firearm offense

  • John Henry – Convicted of business burglary, possession of burglary tools, firearms offense, and two active arrest warrants for business burglary

  • Rachel Stepp – Convicted of burglary, possession of burglary tools and firearm offense

  • Zackery Williams – Burglary and possession of burglary tools.
