Los Angeles Lakers Player Eliminated Against Kings Due to Personal Reasons

On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Sacramento Kings in California in the third game of the season.

The Lakers will be without Cam Reddish for the duration of the game, as the former Duke star was ruled out for personal reasons.

Reddish missed the team’s last game.

Via Jovan Buha of The Athletic: “Jalen Hood-Schifino (illness) and Cam Reddish (personal reasons) will not be able to play for the Lakers tonight against Sacramento.

Neither does Quincy Olivari (G League two-way).”

Reddish is playing his second season with the Lakers.

He finished last year with averages of 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game, while shooting 38.9% from the field and 33.6% from three in 48 games.

They’ll hit the road after Saturday’s game against the Kings (and their first game will be against the Suns in Arizona on Monday).

The Kings enter the match with a score of 0-1 after losing 117-115 to Julius Randle and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Former All-Star DeMar DeRozan led his team with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and one steal in 43 minutes of playing time, while shooting 7/18 from the field and 0/2 from three-point range.

After the Lakers, the Kings will host Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trail Blazers in Sacramento, California on Monday evening.
