Man in custody as police investigate Oshawa murder

A man is in custody as police investigate a homicide in Oshawa.

In a social media post Sunday, Durham police said they were called to a home on Eulalie Avenue south of King Street East, where they found a woman with “visible injuries.”

The woman was taken to a trauma center in Toronto, where she was later pronounced dead.

One man was taken into custody but no other details were released except that there was no threat to public safety.

The researchers did not say what the relationship was between men and women.
