KPC communication network project postponed tender dates

KUWAIT CITY, November 17: Kuwait Petroleum Company (KPC) announced that the preliminary meeting of the tender for the supply, operation and maintenance of communication network and support devices for its main building and Petroleum Training Center has been postponed and the tender has been closed. The company said the preliminary meeting will be held on November 21 instead of November 12; The closing date was postponed from 10 December to 17 December. It was also announced that a tender was opened for the operation and management of the cafeteria of the oil complex to provide food service. In its announcement in the Kuwait Al-Youm official newspaper, KPC said that bidding for this tender will be on November 17, and the closing date will be on December 24; He added that this tender is for companies that are experts in their fields and is indivisible.

KPC explained that, in accordance with the tender conditions, a person or group is not allowed to classify under more than one name or to submit more than one bid in a tender other than alternative bids. According to the company, a natural person who owns shares in separate companies and is independent in terms of each company’s legal personality, finances, engineers, employees and general management system is allowed to register himself and each of the companies. In addition, Kuwait Oil Tankers Company (KOTC) announced that the bidding period for the tender for the rental of computers, printers and accessories to the company and the provision of maintenance and technical support services has been extended; So the new deadline is December 17 instead of November 19.
