Four suspects arrested in connection with alleged copper wire theft in Burlington

Four people were arrested for alleged theft at the Burlington Mall at Metro Center.

On Friday, the Area Two Unit responded to 3645 Metro Center Drive in reference to a burglary in progress.

After obtaining descriptions of the suspects and their vehicles, officers successfully apprehended the suspects at the top loading dock. The suspects broke into the building from the lower floor of the Burlington Mall.

The vehicle used in the crime was a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado truck with altered tags. There were weapons, burglary tools and copper wires inside the vehicle. 4 suspects who were detained were taken to the police headquarters for questioning.

After the interrogation, 4 suspects were sent to prison on the following charges:

  • William Floyd: White/Male 08-6-1969 Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools and Firearm Conviction.
  • Johnny Nathan Henry: White/Male 09-01-1981 Commercial Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Firearm Felony, 2 Active Holds for Commercial Theft.
  • Rachael Stepp: White/Female 12-27-1985 Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools and Firearm Conviction.
  • Zack Williams: 12-12-1994 Business Theft and Possession of Burglary Tools.
