Veteran broadcaster Alan Jones arrested in Sydney amid investigation into indecent assault and sexual touching offences.

NSW Police have arrested veteran broadcaster Alan Jones following an investigation into indecent assault and sexual touching offenses spanning two decades.

Child Exploitation Squad detectives executed a search warrant at the 83-year-old man’s luxury Sydney flat in Circular Quay at around 7.45am (local time) on Monday.

In a statement, NSW Police said the State Crime Command’s Child Exploitation Squad established the Bonnefin Strike Force in March to investigate a series of incidents of indecent assault and sexual touching between 2001 and 2019.

Search warrant pending.
