HPD launches attempted murder investigation after woman allegedly shot her ex-boyfriend

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are investigating a suspected attempted murder in the University District last Saturday night, according to Honolulu police officials.

According to HPD, a 36-year-old woman allegedly shot her 40-year-old ex-boyfriend with a gun late last night and then fled the area.

Authorities said an APB was on the way for the suspect’s vehicle, which was located in the Kapolei area where he was located and arrested.

There were no injuries during this incident.

He is currently in custody.
