love is blind‘s Stacy Snyder weighed in on whether the producers are considering making a weird remake of the Netflix series.

The series bills itself as “a social experiment in which single men and women seek love and get engaged before meeting in person.” They then need to test their relationship in the real world before getting married (or getting married, as the case may be).

Producer Chris Coelen has previously claimed that the series is not about sexuality and that the series will promote LGBTQ+ relationships in its current format. It will create “logistical challenges.”

To talk Metro On whether the next season in 2020 could be more LGBT-inclusive, he said: “This is not a show specifically about sexuality.

“But that being said… I think based on the setup, the LGBTQ+ version has some logistical challenges with the current setup.”

He didn’t explain exactly what those “logistical challenges” were, but acknowledged that “some kind of variation” on the show’s current format could “potentially” work. “I would love to figure this out,” he added.
