He was attacked with obvious injuries around his body. In his statement to the lawyers of the Israeli human rights organization HaMoked, the prisoner detailed that his lower body was naked.

“The guards threw him in the middle of the garden and left him there. Dr Adnan Al-Bursh could not stand up. One of the prisoners helped him and accompanied him to one of the rooms. When Israel’s war on Gaza broke out in October last year, Dr. Al-Bursh was working as head of orthopedic surgery at Al Shifa hospital. By November, Israel laid siege to the hospital and Dr. It forced Al-Bursh to flee with all staff and patients.

After serving at the Indonesian hospital in Bait Lahia and documenting Israeli forces surrounding patients and staff and opening fire indiscriminately, killing 12 people, he was once again ordered to leave because of Israel’s systematic destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system.

Dr. Al-Bursh was then moved to Al-Awda hospital in northern Gaza, where Israeli forces were familiarly surrounded and surrounded. Al-Bursh was captured here by Israeli forces.

On August 6, Israeli media outlet Channel 12 published a harrowing video showing soldiers gang-raping a Palestinian prisoner at a prison in the Negev desert in southern Israel.

Multiple media outlets, including CNN and the New York Times, have revealed shocking details of the rape and sexual assault at Sde Teiman. Palestinian prisoners released from the detention camp testified that they witnessed numerous rapes and cases of Israeli soldiers’ dogs sexually assaulting prisoners.

According to Sky News, Dr. Al-Bursh was subjected to a similar type of brutal torture in prison, resulting in serious injuries and his inability to walk.

Dr., a former prisoner of the Sde Teiman camp. Khalid Hamouda told Sky News: “He was beaten so badly. He thought his ribs might have been broken. He couldn’t even go to the toilet on his own.”

Dr Al-Bursh was then sent to Ofer Prison, where he died within a few weeks.

Meanwhile, UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese called out the “racism of the Western media” for not reporting the story of “an excellent surgeon, the embodiment of the Palestinian ethic”.

“And Western politicians who fail to condemn this, along with thousands of other statements and allegations of rape and other forms of mistreatment and torture suffered by Palestinians in Israeli prisons, is absolutely sickening,” he said on X (Twitter).
