Three men arrested in connection with stolen vehicles and weapons in Red Deer

Three people in Red Deer are facing several charges related to stolen items, including a vehicle and a shotgun.

RCMP said Wednesday afternoon officers found an unoccupied vehicle that had been reported stolen at a business north of Red Deer.

Security camera footage in the vehicle helped arrest 3 people. Officers also found fentanyl and multiple guns inside.

The 53-year-old and a 33-year-old man face more than eight charges, including possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of criminal property over $5,000.

A 25-year-old woman from O’Chiese First Nation also faces more than eight charges, including possession of property over $5,000, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle and failure or refusal to comply with a request.

All three suspects are scheduled to appear in court this month.
