He said: “I wasn’t expecting to be writing this on Monday morning. I’m so sorry to have to tell you that Bobby’s Newcastle is closing its doors for the foreseeable. future.

“Health is very important and I need to put myself and my family first.

“Kirk’s vision was not just to run a bar, but to create a space that truly serves its community, pushing boundaries and raising the bar for everyone else.”
