Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday that seven people, including a child, were killed in a Russian drone attack in the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine.

“Each new Russian attack only confirms (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’s true intentions. “He wants the war to continue, he is not interested in talking about peace,” he said.

According to the statement made by the military administration of the Sumy region on the Telegram messaging application, 12 people, including two children, were injured in a drone attack on a residential building in the small town of Hlukhiv on the Russian border overnight.
