Many schools were forced to close after snow fell in parts of Oxfordshire.

Snow started falling around 07:00 GMT as temperatures dropped on Tuesday morning.

Winter conditions caused this Some schools in Banbury Closures including Cherry Fields Primary School, Longford Park Primary School and The Grange Community Primary School.

The schools said they made the decision considering the dangerous conditions for staff and students in schools and surrounding roads.
