Police say couple accused of stabbing man at MOD Pizza in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. — A man is in the hospital after being stabbed at MOD Pizza Sunday afternoon, according to Norfolk police.

According to NFD, the stabbing happened at 1541 Premium Outlets Boulevard. Police responded to a report of a stabbing at MOD Pizza just before 2:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 24-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment and his injuries are currently considered non-life-threatening, according to the Norfolk Police Department.

Police charged two people in connection with the incident. Catherine N. Harper, 45, of Chesapeake, for malicious wounding and Corey T. Harper, 47, of Chesapeake, for malicious wounding and brandishing a firearm. Police confirm to News 3 the Harpers are married.

Both are being held without bail in the Norfolk County Jail.
