NOPD says investigation into deadly shooting in Central City continues

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – An investigation is ongoing into a fatal shooting in Central City that occurred early Tuesday morning, November 19, according to NOPD.

BREAKING >>> NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 3200 block of Loyola Avenue, near Uptown. Officers arrived shortly after 4 a.m. (Nov. 19) and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. @FOX8NOLA #NewOrleans

Police said the incident happened around 4:10 a.m. in the 3200 block of Loyola Boulevard. Police said they found a man there with a gunshot wound.

Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
