Centralia Police report two cars stolen in burglary at Monken Nissan

Centralia Police, Metro-East and St. He said police departments in St. Louis assisted in efforts to track down two show vehicles stolen from the Monken Nissan Dodge on West McCord Street.

An employee who arrived for work at seven a.m. Monday morning told police that a window had been broken to get into the dealership. The keys to two stolen Dodge Challengers appear to be the only things stolen from the building.

Police said the stolen vehicles were driven westbound on Route 161.

Centralia Police responded to St. Louis along with the Metro-East Auto Theft task force to locate the vehicles and hopefully find those responsible. Louis and St. He’s working with St. Louis County police.
