Woman accused of pouring gasoline on victim sitting on sofa and burning him to death

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ/Gray News) – A woman has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly setting fire to and killing another woman, according to authorities.

Savannah Renee Adams is charged with the death of Tiffany Dunford.

Dunford was sitting on an outdoor couch, his family said. On November 17, someone came, quickly poured gasoline on him, set him on fire, and walked away.

He died in hospital the next day.

According to Dunford’s family, Dunford and Adams knew each other.

According to deputies, Dunford suffered severe burns to most of his body.
