John Berman Throws Shade at ‘Fox & Friends’ and ‘Morning Joe’

CNN’s John Berman guest-hosted Abby Phillip’s “NewsNight” show on Monday, and he started by throwing some shade at rival network personalities.

“Good evening. Abby is outside. I’m John Berman,” the host began.

“You may know me from a cable morning show,” he continued.

Then came the thrills: “Although it wasn’t the secretary of defense who soon paid off a woman who accused him of sexual assault, or the one who just sent two dispatches to Mar-a-Lago and talked about it like it was.” Yalta peak.”

Berman concluded his introductory remarks by saying, “No, I’m hosting the morning show here on CNN, which starts in about 10 minutes, so let’s get to what America is talking about.”
