Georgetown County man arrested on 5 charges in separate incidents

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCSC) – Georgetown County deputies have charged a Plantersville man in connection with a car burning and theft.

Charles Dylan Lowrimore, 28, is charged with third-degree arson, two counts of first-degree burglary and two counts of malicious destruction of personal property valued at less than $2,000, according to sheriff’s spokesman Jason Lesley.

Lesley said the charges stem from a vehicle torching on Indian Hut Road and a burglary on Gapway Road.

He was being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bail hearing.
