Those wishing to join this sector are required to obtain a no-objection notice (NOC) from the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) before engaging in any online economic activity in the country.

This free service is available to individuals and businesses and takes only two business days to complete.

Service steps

  1. Log in using your UAE Pass account on TDRA’s app or website
  2. Fill out an online form
  3. Attach a trade license if applicable and a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the competent authorities if required
  4. TDRA will review the application
  5. Applicants will receive NOC once approved

Terms of service

  • If the online activity will be carried out through a website, a national domain name (.ae) must be provided.
  • If it will be featured on social media (X, Facebook, Instagram or other platforms), the name and link of the account must be provided. If the account name is changed in the future, a new application must be made.
  • If the applicant is using a smart app available on an App Store (Apple IOS or Google play), they must provide the name and link of the app or, if the app is still running, the website link, app description and main interface images. is under development.
