The funeral of One Direction’s lead singer, Liam Payne, will be held

The funeral of One Direction frontman Liam Payne will be held today, and his former bandmates are expected to attend.

Payne died at the age of 31 on October 16, after falling from the balcony on the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.

Payne’s family and friends will also attend the funeral, which will be held in the Home Counties, and it is reported that his girlfriend Kate Cassidy will also be there.

Fans around the world continued to hold tributes following Payne’s death.

The autopsy report stated that the man died from multiple traumas and “internal and external bleeding.”

While prosecutors launched an investigation into his death, an investigation was launched against 3 people regarding the incident.

Payne rose to fame alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan when Simon Cowell brought them together to form One Direction on ITV talent show The X Factor in 2010.

She first auditioned in 2008, when she was 14, singing Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me To The Moon, and judge Cowell told her to return to the talent show two years later.

In 2010, he impressed the judges with his rendition of Michael Buble’s Cry Me A River and, along with the band that would later become One Direction, were placed in the boot camp stage of the competition along with four other solo nominees.

Born in Wolverhampton, Payne embarked on a successful solo career and released his debut solo album LP1 in December 2019, featuring the songs Strip That Down featuring Polaroid and Quavo.

One of his best-known songs, For You, was a collaboration between him and singer Rita Ora for the movie Fifty Shades Freed.

He and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl were in a relationship between 2016 and 2018 and they have a son named Bear.
