Liverpool news: Players and fans ‘got the spark back’ at the Slot

Liverpool fan Abigail Rudkin says head coach Arne Slot has “brought the faith back” to fans after a near-perfect start to the season.

“Losing Jurgen Klopp was a huge change, so I didn’t expect things to go well so quickly,” Rudkin told BBC Radio Merseyside.

“It makes me think about what we can do this season as we enter the Christmas race at the top.

“It feels fresh and new, and it has restored that faith for many of us, which many of us have probably lost as we consider the implications of the transition.

“The players seem to have their old spark back and they are enjoying playing under the Slot. It’s a surprisingly happy place for Liverpool at the moment.”
