Harris County crash: Alleged hit-and-run driver arrested; 1 dead, 1 injured

A suspect has been arrested following a fatal hit-and-run crash in Harris County early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Yusdenis Llano, 39, was arrested and charged with failure to stop and failure to render aid resulting in death, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The accident occurred around 2 a.m. in the 6000 block of Satsuma Road in Addicks.

The sheriff said a woman and her boyfriend were walking on the road when a vehicle hit them and fled the scene.

Authorities said that the woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and the man died at the scene.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Precinct 4 Patrol was able to locate the vehicle and the suspect was taken into custody, the sheriff said.
