The man accused of raping a 12-year-old boy allegedly sexually abused multiple children online

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — Federal investigators say a Detroit man Allegation of rape of 12-year-old girl earlier this year and sexually abused many children in recent years. According to WDIV-Detroit, In a complaint filed by a special agent with the Department of Homeland Security, 25-year-old Joshua Brown-Hill is accused of soliciting sexually explicit content from five different minors, including the girl he is accused of raping.

The complaint was filed as part of an investigation that began following Brown-Hill’s arrest on Aug. 15. In that case, an officer found Brown-Hill and the underage girl inside a car at Pine Lake Park in West Bloomfield Township around 1 a.m. Suspecting that the child had been raped, the officer arrested Brown-Hill and the girl was taken to her family.

Brown-Hill was charged the next day with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with three incidents that allegedly occurred between June 1 and August 15.

As police continued their investigation at Brown-Hill, they uncovered multiple messages sent to four different children on Snapchat. The four children were either 13 or 14 when Brown-Hill allegedly began sending them messages, and investigators said Brown-Hill was aware of the children’s ages at the time the messages were sent.

The messages contained sexual requests from children. Investigators also claim to have found evidence that Brown-Hill belonged to a group chat on the social media platform Telegram, where sexual images of underage children were shared.

WDIV-Detroit alleges Brown-Hill faces federal charges of sexual exploitation of children, possession of material containing images of child pornography sent through the mail, receipt/distribution of material containing images of child pornography sent through the mail, and interstate charges to entice minors to engage in sexual intercourse. activity reported using /foreign trade.
