Hartford, Conn. (WHDH) – A 20-year-old Springfield mother and her 4-month-old son were killed in a drive-by shooting in Hartford, Connecticut, police said Tuesday.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Lance Morales, also known as “Macho”, in connection with the incident.

Morales lives in Waterbury, Connecticut, and was driving with Massachusetts plates at the time of the shooting, according to Hartford police.

“Do not approach this person. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see this person, you should call 911,” said Hartford Interim Police Chief Kenny Howell. “Lance, you have no choice but to turn yourself in to the Hartford Police Department.”

Police are not yet sure how many people were involved in the attack.

Hartford police said Morales was last seen in a white Infinity Q70 with license plate number 3NE B35.

Police believe the Massachusetts license plate was misused and say Morales had access to multiple vehicles.
