Sentencing date set for Lawton man accused of murder

LAWTON, Oklahoma. (KSWO) – A Lawton man is accused of a deadly shooting. beginning of the year was found guilty.

Wesley Blake Moore was convicted of first-degree manslaughter in the death of Corliss Howell.

Moore shot and killed the man during a dispute in January, authorities said.

Although the judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation, jurors recommended he serve 20 years in prison.

The pre-sentence report and his sentence are scheduled to be published in early January.
