‘DWTS’ pro Artem Chigvintsev decides to divorce Nikki Garcia

Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia reached an agreement to divorce, two months after filing for the dissolution of their more than two-year marriage.

a representative for WWE star confirmed Page Six On Wednesday, November 20, it was announced that the estranged couple had reached an agreement and would not appear in court.

“Nikki and Artem have reached an agreement on the divorce and will not be going to court,” the rep said, adding: “Both parties have agreed to lift their domestic violence restraining orders against each other in order to move forward with their lives and collaborate effectively to parent their son.”

“Nikki’s number one priority has always been her son and her privacy about it,” the statement said, and she is “grateful for the love and support she has received during this difficult time.”

Accordingly TMZ, Dancing with the Stars professional dancer and 40-year-old Garcia decided to finalize their divorce just two weeks before the hearing began.

Sources suggest they are keen to avoid emotionally taxing proceedings and high legal costs.

Although Chigvintsev and Garcia are no longer on good terms, they are collaborating for the sake of their four-year-old son, Matteo.
