‘Police officer was attacked’ suspect was named

The name of the suspect who allegedly attacked the police officer has been revealed. Adam Harvey, 37, of no fixed address, was charged with violent disorder; theft and assault on an emergency worker in connection with the incidents. Liverpool city center On August 3.

He allegedly fired a missile at an officer’s head, causing injury; releasing fire extinguishers on the public; and stealing items from a store on Church Street. Harvey will appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 21 November.

So far, a total of 151 people have been arrested, 106 have been charged and 81 people have been sentenced to 168 years and 1 month in prison. Anyone with information that would assist police with their ongoing investigation is asked to contact them via the Public Portal (mipp.police.uk) or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
