Man dies, son arrested in stabbing incident at home in Scarborough

A man has died and his son is in police custody after he was allegedly stabbed at a house in Scarborough.

Toronto Paramedic Services told CityNews that EMS was called to a residence on Whitley Castle Crescent near Finch Avenue East and McCowan Road just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

It was stated that the person who died at the scene was injured with a knife.

A Toronto Police Service spokesperson told 680News Radio that the victim was in his 60s and the man’s 32-year-old son was arrested at the scene.

There are no other suspects, the homicide squad continues the investigation.
