Man linked to 30 burglaries in Las Vegas was also arrested in North Valley for alleged theft

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 obtained Cedric Hasan’s arrest report Man linked to more than 30 burglaries in Las Vegas. Hasan was also arrested for allegedly stealing in the northern valley at the beginning of November.

According to the arrest report, on Sunday, Nov. 10, a North Las Vegas Police Department officer responded to the Tire Business Center near Centennial Parkway.

The business alarm company received notification that the alarms were turned off and heard a lot of banging and clanking.

The alarm company also stated that the business must be closed that day. When officers arrived, they encountered a person described as a short, skinny male wearing dark clothing.

The suspect was seen climbing out of the broken window of the workplace.

The police came to the suspect. The suspect ignored the officer’s requests and drove south in the parking lot, then jumped over the wall behind the business.

Six more police officers came to help. An officer witnessed the suspect jump the fence into the Dollar Self Storage adjacent to the Tire Factory.

Meanwhile, the North Las Vegas crew received multiple 911 calls from a black male splashing on walls in their backyard. One of the callers gave a specific address where police were at the time and noticed a suspect.

This person was taken into custody but had no prior arrest record. He was later released after officers confirmed he was not involved in the incident.

While this was occurring, another tip was received describing a black adult wearing a white shirt and gray pants in their backyard.

Two police officers encountered the suspect in a nearby backyard. This person was later determined to be Cedric Hasan.

A homeowner in the Montessa area confirmed Hasan was running in his backyard and told officers he would file a report.

According to the police, Hasan was also caught on security camera. He was seen breaking the window to enter the workplace.

The business owner of Tire Works confirmed the stolen items. Officers reported a total of $17,560 in losses and damages.

Hasan also had 14 previous arrests for various crimes, including burglary, grand larceny, obstructing a law enforcement officer and possession of burglary tools, records show.

Hasan was arrested for his second theft crime. His first offense was in 2021.
