CNN’s Ana Navarro Dings Matt Gaetz While Praising Trump’s New AG Pick

Pam Bondi, Donald TrumpThe alternate candidate for attorney general has at least one thing going for him, CNN political commentator Ana Navarro He was not accused of sexual assault or statutory rape, he said Thursday.

Navarro compared Bondi to several of Trump’s cabinet picks; The first of these was former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz. Gaetz is accused of having sex with a minor and paying for sex. He denies both, and the federal investigation into the matter did not bring charges against him.

“I know Pam Bondi very well,” Navarro said. AC360. “Pam Bondi, like many other Republicans, is one of the mainstream Republicans who has converted to MAGA.”

“Let me tell you, he is not a giant. He’s not an idiot. “He’s not a person who deliberately wants to look like the kind of person Matt Gaetz wants to be,” he said.

“He was one of Donald Trump’s first loyalists in the 2016 primaries. He was loyal to him even though Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio were candidates. “I think he will gain loyalty through Pam Bondi, which is very important to him.”

“And,” Navarro continued, “he did not commit or be accused of statutory rape.”

Navarro then addressed the former Fox News host Pete Hegsethwho in 2017 was accused sexual assault and who paid the accuser for fear of losing her TV gig. Hegseth, potentially the next head of the Department of Defense, denies the sexual assault allegation.

“He was not accused of sexual assault,” Navarro said.

Navarro then made another comparison; this time Robert F. Kennedy Jr.Trump’s pick as Health and Human Services secretary.

“He didn’t behead a whale or stab a dead bear cub. So all in all I would say he is one of the best choices.”

Kennedy confessed In 2014, he improperly dumped a dead bear cub into Central Park. And daughter says He once beheaded a dead whale in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, tied it to the roof of his minivan and drove it home to New York five hours later.
