Man wanted in murder of Texarkana teen arrested by U.S. Marshals in Dallas | Arkansas Democrat Gazette

TEXARKANA – Kahim Webster, the suspect in the murder of a minor at River Run Apartments, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in the Dallas area.

Webster was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder, according to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department.

The department had previously identified Webster as a suspect in the Oct. 22 murder of a minor at his apartment. When detectives were unable to quickly locate Webster, the department requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service’s fugitive task force. Warrant hunters tracked Webster to the Dallas area and arrested him Thursday, according to a news release from Texarkana police.

“The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department thanks the U.S. Marshals Service for their assistance and dedication in bringing Webster to justice. We hope his arrest will bring closure to the victim’s friends and family,” the news release said. The statement was included.
