In a shocking incident in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, 25-year-old Rohitash Kumar, who was wrongly declared dead by doctors, regained consciousness minutes before he was cremated on Thursday. He was rushed to hospital but unfortunately passed away in the early hours of Friday morning. In response to this serious medical error, the state government suspended three doctors and launched an investigation into the hospital’s practices.

A Miraculous Awakening

Deaf and mute Rohitash Kumar, who was staying in a shelter for the mentally disabled, was taken to BDK Hospital after having an epileptic attack. Doctors announced that he died around 14:00 without the necessary autopsy. His body was delivered for cremation, but while preparations were continuing at the crematorium, he suddenly showed signs of life. Eyewitnesses were stunned that the body started breathing just before it was cremated and immediately sought medical attention. He was taken back to BDK Hospital and then transferred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur for intensive care. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, Rohitash succumbed to his condition at 5:30 am on Friday.

After the obituary was announced without proper investigation, regional authorities launched an investigation into hospital protocols.
