Manipur The government on Saturday, November 23, 2024, as per an Order, extended the suspension of mobile internet services in seven districts of the state for two days.

“The State Government, after reviewing the prevailing law and order situation, has decided to continue the suspension of mobile internet services in Imphal West, Imphal East, Kakching, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Churachandpur and Kangpokpi for another two days in the interest of public interest.” Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

Internet services were stopped on November 16 violence broke out in the state after the bodies of three women and three children were found.

The Government of Manipur had lifted the suspension of broadband services on November 19, considering the challenges faced by common people, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and other offices.
