The stabbed man is in critical condition

A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed on Westminster Bridge in central London, the Met Police said.

Emergency services were called at around 10:45 GMT following reports of a fight on the bridge.

The London Ambulance Service and air ambulance also arrived at the scene and took him to hospital.

The Met said three men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, while another was arrested for a fight.

Roads around Westminster Bridge were also closed in all directions while police carried out investigations.

Buses 11, 12, 148, 159 and 453 are being diverted.
