1 person dead, 3 critically injured, multiple shot in 12-hour shooting spree on Indianapolis’ east side – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person was killed, three were seriously injured and several others were injured in 12 hours of violent shootings on the east and south sides of Indianapolis.

Six of those attacks have occurred since midnight Sunday, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. There were two more shootings Saturday night, and two people were in critical condition.

The first shooting of Sunday occurred at 1 a.m. in the 2300 block of East 40th Street; Here three people were shot and taken to three different hospitals and were in stable condition.

At 2:30 a.m., another shooting occurred near an abandoned liquor store in the 4200 block of E. New York Street; One man here is dead and another is in critical condition. IMPD has not been able to identify the victim of this shooting.

A shooting occurred at 2:50 a.m. in the 2300 block of N LaSalle Street, where one person was shot.

IMPD officers then arrived at 4011 Southeastern Ave. around 3:15 a.m. He was sent to Brad’s Brass Flamingo nightclub at. Police found one person shot but in stable condition.

IMPD was also called at 4 a.m. for a shooting at a home in the 2500 block of South Randolph Street, where the victim was in stable condition. Fifteen minutes later, another shooting occurred on Congaree Drive on the far east side, with the victim also in stable condition.

IMPD has not announced any arrests in these shootings. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers.

Timetable of shooting: Saturday 19.00 to Sunday 07.00

  • 7:00 p.m.: Man entering Riley Children’s Hospital was shot. The victim’s condition is critical.
  • 9 p.m.: McDonald’s, 2425 E. 38th St. The victim’s condition is critical.
  • 1 a.m.: 2300 East 40th Street. Three people were shot but their condition is stable.
  • 2:36 a.m.: 4200 block of East New York Avenue. While one of the injured people died at the scene, it was learned that the condition of the other was critical.
  • 2:49 a.m.: 2300 block of North Lasalle Street. The victim is in stable condition.
  • 3:18 a.m.: Brad’s Brass Flamingo is at 4011 Southeastern Ave. The victim is in stable condition.
  • 4 a.m.: 2500 block of South Randolph Street. The victim is in stable condition.
  • 4:17 a.m.: 4000 block of Congaree Drive. The victim is in stable condition.
