Albert’s Schloss has confirmed that a woman is in hospital following the attack on the venue.

The German-themed bar in Chamberlain Square was the scene of violent chaos last night (Saturday). Two women were arrested after another woman was injured in a fight.

A spokesperson for Albert’s Schloss told the Express & Star: “We are extremely concerned about the serious incident between two guests at our venue on Saturday evening.

“Fortunately, the rapid response of our trained security and management team ensured that the injured guest received immediate treatment and care.”

The spokesman added: “We are fully supporting the various authorities as they investigate the matter and ensure our teams receive full support.

“The safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority. We understand our injured guest is recovering in hospital.”

West Midlands Police is appealing for information about the attack.

A spokesman said: “Two women have been arrested following a disturbance at a bar in Birmingham city centre. “We were called to reports of disturbances at a bar in Birmingham Chamberlain Square at around 8pm last night.

“One woman was injured and received treatment. Two women, aged 29 and 30, were arrested and remain in custody on suspicion of serious assault.”
