Shooting Victim Died at Research Medical Center

Overnight violence has left another local victim dead as police seek more information from the community as part of their ongoing investigation. . . Check out:

Murder 63rd and Manchester

Just before 1:30 this morning, patrol officers were dispatched to Research Medical Center on a report of a shooting.

The adult male victim, who suffered a gunshot wound, was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. The injured person died from the injuries he received while in the hospital. Preliminary investigation revealed that the attack likely occurred in the area of ​​63rd Street and Manchester.

This incident is being investigated as a murder and there is no one in custody. Detectives are interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for any physical evidence. Investigators are working to determine a motive for the shooting.
