Man in critical condition as four arrested after fight on Westminster Bridge

A man was taken to hospital in a critical condition following a fight on Westminster Bridge. I Met the Police he said.

Police officers were called at around 10.45am on Sunday following a fight on the bridge near the House of Commons.

They attended the scene along with the London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance, where they found a man in cardiac arrest.

Police initially said the man was “suffering from an illness.” stabbing injuryHowever, he later confirmed that this was not the case.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and one person on suspicion of affray. Two people with minor head injuries were taken to hospital.

The bridge was closed for several hours while investigations continued, but has now reopened.
