16 Group Brewing Companies was announced somehow Facebook post Its two locations in Mason and Newport on the Levee are permanently closing Thursday.

The owners thanked their employees, landlords and the bank for supporting them and giving them the opportunity to run the business.

“We did the best we could, but unfortunately the business was not sustainable,” the post reads.

The brewery opened its flagship location in Mason in 2017 and 16 Lots Southern Outpost in Newport in 2023. won two bronze medals at the US Open Beer Championship in July.
