Tectone leaves OTK after ex-girlfriend’s sexual assault allegations

Twitch streamer Tectone has parted ways with OTK following multiple harassment allegations from his former partner Pinkchyu, which he continues to vehemently deny, even demanding an apology within the next 24 hours.

On November 20, 2024, Pinkchyu claims she was a victim of “sexual abuse” One a series of tweets this did not explicitly name an abuser. Many viewers guessed that the name in question was Twitch streamer Tectone and received an answer later in the day.

Tectone addressed this issue both live and on X (formerly Twitter), where the allegations were made. He backtracked, denying he had done anything wrong, claiming Pinkchyu was “imagining problems that never happened.”

“It’s crazy that these things happen in your own mind; now you’re coming at me and it’s not nice,” Tectone said at the time.

He later gave his ex-girlfriend two weeks to “apologise” before taking legal action, while Tectone I went live again on November 24 to discuss the allegations further. Earlier in his Twitch stream, he confirmed that he had parted ways with OTK, although it was not allegedly due to the ongoing situation.

Tectone parted ways with OTK

Although OTK has yet to make an official statement, Tectone was artfully removed from the band’s website after the controversy came to light. While Tectone quickly confirmed that he had parted ways with the organization, he maintained that this was completely separate from the Pinkchyu accusation.

Claiming that the Nov. 24 broadcast was “the single most important arc of his entire life,” Tectone pulled no punches in addressing things head on. First of all, it was the issue of OTK.

“Did OTK remove you from its site with false accusations?” one viewer asked. “The answer is no,” Tectone answered bluntly.

Tectone’s contract with the creator group allegedly expires on November 1, 2024. He claims to have been weighing his options over the past few weeks. “As of last night, I chose not to renew the contract,” he explained.

It was claimed that the reason for this decision had nothing to do with the current scandal. On the contrary, Tectone allegedly planned to leave for as long as “four months”, claiming that his relationship with other popular streamers gave him “weakness”.

“I don’t like people going after other people when I do stupid things,” he said.

For the most part, he expressed affection for most of the remaining members of OTK, but with some it often felt like “contractually obligated friendships”.

Frankly, this split, occurring in the midst of the ongoing situation with Pinkchyu, raised many eyebrows, especially due to the silence at the end of OTK. Clarifying his position further, Tectone continued his broadcast, focusing on the accusations against him.

Tectone gives Pinkchyu time to apologize for accusations

Tectone repeated his stance from previous days, saying, “I want to make this extremely clear, everything he accused me of in his statement is a complete lie.” “None of these accusations are true, they are completely fabricated.”

Addressing a specific allegation in which Pinkchyu claimed he was “guilt-ridden” while engaging in sexual acts for not paying rent, Tectone revealed the alleged receipts. The streamer has highlighted screenshots of her ex seemingly paying rent multiple times, but that’s not all.

Tectone later posted an earlier tweet from his ex. In his own words, he claimed to have paid back the rent in June 2024. He added in the same tweet at the time: “I couldn’t ask for a better friend.”

“It’s very unfortunate that people get caught up in this situation,” Tectone said. “This tweet is a contradictory and bold lie.”

Now tightening the deadline, Tectone gave Pinkchyu 24 hours to respond. She wants the post deleted and a public apology or is threatened with legal action.

“You have 24 hours. You will delete your message and apologize. I do not want to go to court, I do not want all this to be made public. I want to continue.”
