Many people were injured in the accident involving 3 vehicles in Günter

GUNTER, Texas (KXII) – Multiple people were injured in a major three-car crash in Gunter Sunday morning.

According to Gunter Fire and Rescue, the crash occurred just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday near SH-289 and FM-902.

Rescue was needed and helicopters were requested from both Durant and McKinney.

Gunter Fire and Rescue said multiple people were transported to the hospital with various injuries.

Their identities and circumstances have not been released at this time.
