Last week, Ellie appeared at a London venue for the launch of her new business venture, Preppy Skin, a grooming brand aimed specifically at under-16s, and Jermaine congratulated her on Instagram.

But there was responsibility in his gushing post as he saluted his wife for managing to build her business despite the ‘nonsense’ she dragged him into.

He wrote: ‘I couldn’t be more proud of this woman, 3 years ago you had a great idea and this week you got to make it a reality.

Jermaine recently revealed that his wife Ellie, with whom he shares three young children, was “absolutely furious” after finding out about the messages and threw him out of the bedroom they shared in their £1million family home.

He admitted lying to her during a family holiday when he snuck off for a Zoom call with BBC bosses over her inappropriate messages.

She has remained largely silent on social media about the situation, but on Tuesday she appeared publicly without her wedding ring, sparking speculation about the status of the couple’s 13-year marriage.

Addressing the scandal, Ellie admitted that the last few months have been “incredibly difficult” for her and her family.

He added that his ‘only focus is on our children’ and that he wants to ‘move forward’ as he embarks on his new business venture.

Ellie and Jermaine have been married for 13 years and got married in 2011.

They live in a £1million house in Hertfordshire and have two daughters, Geneva and Olivia, as well as a baby, Jacob.

Jermaine also has a 16-year-old older daughter, Sancha, from a previous relationship, who lives with her mother in the United States.

He was let go by the Beeb after women complained about his behavior at work and a member of staff said to have previously been attracted to the star raised concerns about alleged flirting messages.

A source said the company had acted “quickly and decisively” because “it is inconceivable that the BBC has been slow to act.”
