What is the story

On Sunday, Dasna temple priest Yati Narsinghanand was placed under house arrest by the police.

Narsinghanand prevented his followers from reaching Delhi

Narsinghanand and his students started reciting the Hanuman Chalisa in the temple premises when they were stopped by the police on Sunday.

In his statement, Narsinghanand accused Raza, Madni and Owaisi of seeing the “politeness” of Hindus as their weakness.

He further added that if these leaders could gather crowds to intimidate the Hindus, he and his followers would stand firmly against them.

Police statement regarding Narsinghanand

Wave City Deputy Commissioner of Police Lipi Nagayach said Narsinghanand and his followers were stopped while trying to board their vehicle for Delhi on Sunday morning.

Narsinghanand, who is currently out on bail, has been implicated in multiple hate speech cases.
