Police arrest Brattleboro stabbing suspect

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A man is recovering after being stabbed in the head.

Police said the man holding the knife will appear in court on Monday.

Brattleboro Police say they responded to a home on Oak Street around 6:15 Sunday night for a report of an assault.

They found the victim with stab wounds to his head, were treated and released this morning.

Police detained 21-year-old Alexander Meima.

He will be arraigned on Monday on a charge of 1st degree aggravated assault.
