Olive Kagendo Muriithi claimed that she started noticing a change in her husband’s behavior after her second pregnancy.

Why didn’t Kagendo confront her cheating husband?

He had been faithful to her for ten years, ever since they walked down the aisle and exchanged wedding vows.

To talk TUKO.co.keKagendo explained that she never confronted her husband about his behavior, but she voluntarily opened up to him.

“I couldn’t even ask because I loved him. I suspected that he was seeing someone else. He approached me and told me about another woman he was seeing. He told me that he found someone and that he knew I wouldn’t be happy with it. I told him that he could continue seeing the other woman as long as he valued my family, because it was his decision.” .

One day, Kagendo came home to find a woman sitting comfortably in the living room with her husband.

Why did Kagendo sleep in his children’s bedroom?

Kagendo asked no questions as he joined them for tea prepared by his sister, the house manager.

“After tea, I took a shower. When I got out of the shower, I saw that the bedroom door was locked from the inside. My wife was also inside with the lady I saw. I wringed out my towel and went to the children’s room, where I spent two nights.

About a week later, my husband gave me some documents. These were divorce papers. “He claimed that he and I could no longer continue to be together and wanted us to go our separate ways,” he said.

Kagendo said she consulted family members before making a decision, and they encouraged her to file for divorce, which she eventually did.
