Bishop TD Jakes’ Daughter Gives Update After Medical Emergency

The pastor and motivational speaker suffered a medical emergency on Sunday, November 24. While Jakes was preaching at The Potter’s House Church in Dallas, he suddenly stopped when his body began shaking. Many people rushed to help, causing those who witnessed the incident to wonder what had happened.

After the incident occurred while Jakes was preaching at The Potter’s House Church, the video of that moment went viral on social media. Just a day later, Bishop TD Jakes’ daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, shared an update on her father’s health on Instagram.

Joined by his wife, Touré Roberts, he began the message as follows: “Hello family. I know today is an interesting day for us. “But we didn’t want to give up without giving you all an update on how things are going with Bishop.”

Sarah went on to express how grateful the entire family was for the prayers and support after TD Jakes’ medical emergency spread on social media.

“Yes, we felt those prayers,” Touré added. “Obviously today could have been a tragic day. But by the grace of God, by the grace of God, it didn’t happen. Bishop is in good condition. He’s recovering. He’s under medical care. He’s strong. We’re trying to get him settled. He’s the strong Bishop that we know.”

Sarah continued, “I’m so grateful that he’s already starting to improve, and I think this is just a reminder as we head into this holiday season week to love the people that you hold near and dear and just take the time. I’m grateful for all the people God has given you.”

The comments are filled with thousands of prayers and good wishes for Bishop, as everyone hopes for a speedy recovery.
