Gerald Anderson opens up about past relationships, addresses speculation about ‘Letter B’ and ‘Letter P’

Actor Gerald Anderson recently appeared on One News PH talk show ‘The Men’s Room’ hosted by Janno Gibbs and Stanley Chi, where the conversation moved towards his past relationships and arguments.

Despite the lighthearted nature of the show, the controversy brought up some of the actor’s most talked about romantic connections.

When asked if he and “Letter B” were no longer on good terms, Gerald was visibly surprised but managed to answer candidly: “Hindi is 100% masagot, but still, okay naman. Ang tagal na ‘nun eh. Ayun Lang.”

Although no name is explicitly mentioned, fans believe the “Letter B” refers to Gerald’s ex-girlfriend, actress Bea Alonzo. Their controversial 2019 split, which included allegations of “ghosting”, remains one of the most discussed topics in local showbiz.

The conversation turned to rumors about Gerald and “Letter P”, which the actor quickly denied:
“Ang tagal naman ‘nun…Chismis lang ‘yun.”

Fans think this question refers to Pia Wurtzbach, with whom Gerald worked in the 2018 romantic drama ‘My Perfect You’. Rumors about their romantic relationship emerged after the film’s release, with some claiming that this played a role in Gerald’s separation from Bea. However, Gerald has consistently denied these allegations. Pia is now happily married to Jeremy Jauncey, putting old rumors to rest.

Janno and Stanley also investigated Gerald’s social media habits, asking him if he had unfollowed or deleted posts about his exes. Gerald explained his approach: “Ina-unfollow ako, pero never ako (nag-unfollow). Siyempre naman, bago naghiwalay, we appreciated those moments na visible kayo, ‘yun ‘yung perspective ko diyan.”

He added that he did not delete photos of his past relationships from Instagram and said, “Kahit i-check niyo.”

The actor maintains a happy relationship with Julia Barretto, whom he publicly announced as his girlfriend in 2021. In previous interviews, Gerald stated that he saw Julia as someone he could marry in the future.

Besides Bea Alonzo and Julia Barretto, Gerald has been romantically linked to other notables like Kim Chiu, Sarah Geronimo, and Maja Salvador.
