Former Arizona Coyotes player Paul Bissonnette attacked at Scottsdale restaurant

Former Arizona Coyotes Actor, podcaster and TNT hockey analyst Paul Bissonnette was attacked by six people at a Scottsdale restaurant Sunday night, the police department said.

The November 24 attack took place at: Houston’s restaurant Near McDonald Drive and Scottsdale Road around 7:30 p.m.

“An altercation occurred inside the restaurant between six adult males and management. Paul Bissonnette reportedly attempted to help management calm the men down and get them to leave. The situation escalated until the men attacked Paul Bissonnette inside and outside the restaurant,” Scottsdale Police Sgt. Allison Sempsis said.

Six people were arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct. They have not been identified.

As for Bissonnette’s injuries, Scottsdale Police did not elaborate on the severity of the injuries but said they were not life-threatening. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

No further information about the attack is available.

Former NHL team left Arizona after last season due to management issues and currently plays in Salt Lake City as the Utah Hockey Club.
